SCN2013

SCN 無事終了しました。
ご来場ありがとうございました。
心配された天気もウソの様に晴れ上がり、しかも湿度は低く外で過ごすには最高の陽気でした。
今年は会場内のゴミを無くす為皆様にも協力して頂いただいたお陰で奇麗な状態で会場を返却する事が出来ました。
ありがとうございました。

SCN finished without any major incidents.
Thank you to everyone for being a part of the event.
We were really worried about the weather as days leading up to the event indicated rain but miraculously, the day was not only sunny but the mild wild and low humidity make it a perfect day.
This year, with everyone's cooperation, the event area was kept super clean and it was returned to Odaiba without issue.
Thank you very much.

とところがウッカリしていましたがトイレ (男性) の中はこんな状態でした。
次回から飲み物は自分の水筒持参にしてもらった方が良い様です。

However, one area seemed to be forgotten about. The (men's) toilet looked like this. We'll have to think of a better solution for this next time.

明日は SCN / SCN Tomorrow

東京ディズニーランドは 30周年、 MQQN Discs を販売し出して 30年。
そして昨日 5月17日で MQQNEYES は 27年、皆様に支えられ今日、 28年目に突入です。
これからも宜しくお願いします。
明日は 27回目の SCN、天気も何とかなるので明日会場でお会いしましょう。
気を付けてお出かけ下さい。
お待ちしています。

Tokyo Disneyland is celebrating its 30th anniversary and I started selling MQQN Discs in Japan 30 years ago.
Yesterday, 5/17, MQQNEYES Japan marked 27 years in business. With everyone's support today, we'll head into 28 years.
Thank you very much for your support.
Tomorrow is the 27th Annual Mooneyes Street Car Nationals (SCN2013). The weather has turned positive and looks like it will be a good day. Hope to see you all at the event grounds in Odaiba, Tokyo.
Please travel carefully.

速報!! Stolen El Camino

盗難にあった Chico's El Camino、見つかったと Police から連絡があり見にいってみると
ご覧のありさま、そのまま捨ててもらうにも $150 + レッカー代 (捨てられた場所から保管場所までの移動) を取られると言う踏んだり蹴ったり。心中お察しします。
そう言えば思い出したのですが My '87 El Camino Yellow も Chico が乗っていた 20年位前に
盗まれ Desert に乗り捨てられていたのでした。
その時は乗り捨てだったので Body へのダメージは多少ありましたが盗まれた部品はありませんでした。
しかし室内は砂だらけで未だあっちこっちに砂が残っている状態です。
クルマの盗難なんて久しぶりだな～！

They found Chico's stolen El Camino. Chico got a call from the police so they went to check it out. He has to pay $150 + the tow fee (the towing fee is from where it was found to the wrecking yard). When it rains, it pours. He has to pay for it to be scrapped as there's really nothing left. I can sympathize with what Chico is going through.
I just remembered about 20 years ago when Chico owned my yellow '87 El Camino and it was stolen, later found ditched in the desert.
However, that situation was different. Although there was minor body damage, there wasn't anything stolen. The interior was covered with sand. Even now, you can still find sand in certain places.
It's been a long time since there's been a car theft situation!

金目の物は何一つ残っていません。
Engine は V-6 だったから残っていたのでしょうか？
Just about anything worth any value has been taken.
The engine is a V-6 so that's probably why they didn't take it?
