このクルマがあのトヨタ プロボックスに見えますか？
12月4日(日）パシフィコ横浜で開催された第14回 YOKOHAMA HOT ROD・Custom Show 2005で11台のカスタム プロボックスがMOONEYES Dealerの手で作られ、展示されました。営業車として街でよく見かけるプロボックスがこんなにカッコ良くなってしまうなんて、想像できたでしょうか。


MOONEYES制作のYellow プロボックス - SidewinderはPhase III(フェイズスリー）と呼ばれるFRP製 Front & Rear Bumperを装着しています。最大の特徴は大きなフロント グリルにTOYOTAの"T"をイメージしたTバー グリルです。
ホイルはこのProjectの為に新たに作られたSpeed Master Wheel、Made in Japanのハイクオリティー ホイルです。ノスタルジックな雰囲気でありながらFWDに装着可能なNew Old Style ホイル、ピカピカのフルポリッシュとマグホイル風 マググレーペンイントの2種類、サイズは15×6 OR 17×7があります。ピッチは4H/100から5H/114.3まで、オフセットは+38 ＆ +44です。Phase III Probox Sidewinderには17インチ マググレーを履いていますが、フロントグリルのワイルドさとマググレーがよくマッチしていますね。


シルバーのプロボックスはPhase II(フェイズツー）仕様　Super Sleek Probox、Phase IIIよりかなりマイルドな仕上がりですが商業車のイメージを変えるには十分なカスタムです。
フロントグリルはバンバーと一体、リアバンパーにナンバープレートを移し、テールゲートはTail Gate File Panel（テール ゲートフィル パネル）でスムーズになっています。特製ブラもあります。
ホイルは15×6 フルポリッシュにホワイトレター Cooper Cobra ラジアルタイヤが良い感じです。このシルバーは純正色ですが、純正色がベースでもちょっとしたタッチで雰囲気が変わってしまいます。全塗装が全てではありませんね。

この2台を見ていかがですか？1300cc/1500ccと経済的なモーター、そして必要な装備は殆ど付いてますし、中古車の値段もこなれてきたプロボックス、何かしたいなって常日頃思っている方にパーフェクトの題材です。 そろそろ皆、何か楽しい事しましょ！

11 Custom Probox were made by MOONEYES Dealer and displayed at 14th Annual YOKOHAMA HOT ROD Custom Show 2005 on Sunday December 4th in Pacifico Yokohama, Japan. Probox is the commercial vehicle that is seen in every town and could anyone imagine it could be this COOL.

The yellow Probox called "Sidewinder" is made by MOONEYES and has Phase III FRP Front & Rear Bumpers. The most unique feature is the T-Bar set in the big front grill which is designed to image "T" from "TOYOTA". This wheel is called "Speed Master Wheel" which is a high quality wheel specially designed and made for this project in Japan. It's New Old Style Wheel with nostalgic style and designed to fit FWD. Speed Master Wheel comes in 2 styles, Full Polish and Mag Wheel Style Mag Gray Paint. Sizes are 15X6 or 17X7. Pitch size from 4H/100 to 5H/114.3, Offset is +38 & +44.
Phase III Probox "Sidewinder" has 17inch Mag Gray which matches best to wild front grill.

Silver Probox is Phase II Style "Super Sleek Probox", which is mild compare to Phase III but enough to change image of a car.
Front grill is made into one piece bumper, number plate is moved to fit in rear bumper and Tail Gate File Panel is used to smooth the tail gate. Nose Bra is specially made. Wheel is 15X6 Full Polish Speed Master Wheel with Cooper Cobra White Letter Radials. This paint is factory original silver but with combination of other parts it doesn't look like original at all. Maybe all paint is not necessary.
