Think Safety

4月16日(日）仙台ハイランド ドラッグ レースウェイでMOONEYES MEET SPEED TRIALです。MOONEYESでTime Trialを主催するようになって4年目です。
年々スピードは上がり、タイムも早くなってきています。 誰でも早く走りたいですからどんどんレコードが良くなって来るのは当然の事ですが、安全もレコードの変化と共に変化しているかというと、そうでも無いケースも見られます。

自分の命は自分で守るしかないので、安全に対しては自分に厳しくし過ぎる事は無いと思います。特にトップエンドでの事故は14秒でも17秒でも大事故になる事は間違いありません。
2006年は PRAの元、MOONEYES、So Cal、Daytonaの3回が仙台で開催される予定ですが、三者とも同じレギュレーションを設け、それに則り開催したいと思っています。まず叩き台としてMOONEYES MEETで新しいレギュレーションに則り開催しますが、試行錯誤で作ったので、いざ配布後 色々な方面からの意見を聞くと一概に一括りにはならず、例外的な対処も必要になってくるようです。

MOONEYES MEETは初戦で車への対応が間に合わないとも思いますので、不明な点は私までご連絡ください。あくまでも楽しく走るが基本ですが、怪我をしても損ですから今年からは安全面もしっかりして楽しみましょう。規制がなくルーズにやるのが一番楽しいのは良く分かってますが、何時誰に何が起きてもおかしくないのもTime Trialです。今年から「Think Safety!」で行きましょう。
2005 MOONEYES MEETのReport
MOONEYES Meet Time Trial is on Sunday 16th April. Its 4th year for MOONEYES hosting Time Trial.
Every year Speed is getting higher and Time is getting shorter and every one is trying to get faster but the Safety is not changing as fast as speed. Ones Own life has to be saved by ones self so nothing is too much. And its big accident at Big end at speed like 14 second or 17. In 2006, Former PRA, MOONEYES, SOCAL, Daytona has 3 races at Sendai Japan so we all made regulation together to host according to new rule. MOONEYES Meet will be the first race with new rule, so there will be confusion while proceeding and may be chnages are necessary at spot. As MOONEYES Meet is first race and changes for new regulation may not be finished by the race, if so please ask me about it. To have fun is the basics of this event so its no fun to hold, Lets have safety prepared this year to have fun. No regulation makes event fun but Time Trial is event which never know what will happen, so from this year lets go with "Think, Safety".
