Go! 鈴鹿


Our New Transporter		 6月4日(日)は鈴鹿で開催されたHot Stuff主催 "第10回 SCN 鈴鹿" に参加してきました。

今回はBrand Newの積載車が4月に納車されて以来、初めての遠出です。
なんと言っても今度はカーナビが付いているので道に迷うことも無く順調に行けるはずが、東名から伊勢湾岸道路に入った途端カーナビが挙動不審となり、画面をみると田んぼの上や、川の上を走っているのです。カーナビが道に迷っちゃったようです。
なんとウチの積載車のカーナビではこの道はまだ完成していなかったのです。出来て間もない道なら分かりますが去年も同じ道で行ってるのですから、2006年4月に納車された車のカーナビに入っていてもいいですよね。積載車は新車ですがカーナビはどうなのかな？

こちらのMOON Discを履いたHondaはその伊勢湾岸道路でたまたま遭遇しました。
さてEventは好天に恵まれローケーションも最高、集まっている車も素晴らしい、日本では屈指のイベントではないでしょうか？USA車が中心のイベントですが、国産車もがんばっていました。数台ですが気になった車をピックアップしました。
MOONEYESはCrown Pick Up LHDを展示しました。

MOONEYES Award		 今回、MOONEYES賞を受賞したのは130系クラウンの足回り、エンジン 1J-Z プラス 4Speed ATを換装した1969年型 Crown Super DXです。
この左ハンドルワンテールセリカが大変気になりました。最近の国産車Power、楽しくなりそうですね。

遂にイベントシーズンも本格的になってきました。皆さんショー会場でお会いしましょう。
ここでHappyになるWEBの紹介です。Southern California, Palos Verdesに住む旧友がWebでCaliforniaの出来事を配信しているので紹介したいと思います。そんなしょっちゅうCaliforniaには行けないと思うけど、これを見ているといつの間にか「いいな～」って、そんな気になってしまうソフトなWebです。リラックスできますよ！

"Go! SUZUKA!"
On Sunday 4th of June went to the 10th Street Car Nationals SUZUKA hosted by Hot Stuff. This time I was on a brand new transporter with GPS system so I should have no problem of getting there, but after TOUMEI highway and went on to ISE WANGAN Highway the GPS navigation showed on screen that my car was driving across the farm land and river and obviously GPS got lost of our track.

Our GPS showed this road was incomplete. Its understandable if the road is brand new but I went on this road last year so the brand new car that was received on April 2006 should have brand new GPS or May be GPS is not new?
That car is actually a loader truck and Mr.Blue is the man who we bought truck from. His Blog in Japanese is "Mr. Blue, talking to himself".

We came cross by this Honda with MOON Disc on on ISE WANGAN highway.

Now, as for the event, I think its one of the greatest shows in Japan with great weather and location and Show Cars are very nice cars. There were many American cars and Japanese Domestic cars were showing strong too. I had chosen some cars that caught my attention.

MOONEYES had Crown Pick Up LHD on display.

The MOONEYES award went to the 1969 Toyota Crown Super DX with late model Toyota 130 series Crowns' suspension, 1J-Z Electric Fuel Injected engine, 4 speed AT. This single tail lamp, left hand drive Celica caught my attention. Recent Domestic cars are showing strong and I think expect to see more fun.

Now we are already in middle of The Event Season. Hope to see every one at the show.
