MOONEYES USA Open House

7月15日(土)はMOONEYES USAのOpen Houseでした。
Open Houseはお客様感謝Dayのようなイベントで、Shopを開放しミニカーショー、ミニブース、ジャンク物販売などを行い、一日お客様が自由にShop内をブラブラ出来る日です。
今回は、昨年のヨコハマ ホット ロッド・カスタム ショー（以下HCS）にも参加してくれたMr. & Mrs. Pizzと、日本でもファンが多いHot Rodがミニブースを出し、
日本からはフリーペーパー "BURNOUT"でお馴染みNASHとPinstriperのGrim、そしてCruisin'マガジンの及川編集長と菊池君がCruisin'の販促と販売を兼ねてブースを出してくれました。ZAPも来ましたがEventが終わってから来たので写真は割愛します。
ライブバンドはMOONEYESのEventには欠かす事のできないHot Rod Trioが軽快なサウンドでEventを盛り上げてくれました。
朝7時から沢山の車でMOONEYES USAのParkingは一杯になり、
10時頃には周辺道路もHot Rod＆Customで混雑し始め、近所の空きスペースはEventに来る車で埋め尽くされました。
昼頃には昨年HCSに来たSinnerｓのDanny Takahashi(写真中央)もHD Chopperで友人と現れ、「今年もHCSに行くよ！」と言ってました。この手前の赤いHDもHCSに来るって話してました。今年のHCSのバイクはアツイようです。
ランチに用意されたＦｒｅｅハンバーガー＆ホットドックは瞬く間になくなりました。
100度を越す暑さの中（特に会社のあるSanta Fe Springsは暑いのです）、ちょっと人の出がスローでしたが大きなトラブルもなく3時にClosedとなりました。

次のMOONEYES USA主催のEventは12月9日(土)、Irwindale Racewayで開催される毎年恒例となったMOONEYES X-Mas Partyです。今年は"Show ＆ Drag"、カーショー、ベンダーブース＆Drag Raceです。参加できるのは1964年以前の車で、Irwindale RacewayのSaftyに従って開催されます。見に来る方はFree AdmissionですがGeneral Parking Feeが掛かります。カレンダーにマークを付けておいてください。

MOONEYES USA's Open House was on Saturday July 15th . Open House is an event held to Thank customers by opening the shop for Customers to walk freely in the shop, free entrance, Mini car show, Mini booth and Junk sale. Mr. & Mrs. Pizz who has been to the Yokohama Hot Rod Custom show(HCS) last year and Hot Rod who has many funs in Japan had mini booth at the event.

NASH who publish "Burnout" free paper came with Pinstriper Grim and "Cruisin' Magazine" chief editor Mr. Oikawa and Mr. Kikuchi had booth out for advertising and sales of "Cruisin' magazine". Zap came after the show so no picture of him. Always need a Live Band at MOONEYES Event and Hot Rod Trio came to play the light sound to cheer up the event.

At Seven o'clock, parking lot at MOONEYES USA was full of cars who came to the event, And by 10 o'clock parking space in close by neighborhood were filled with cars who came to the event.

By lunch time Danny Takahashi of Sinners came with friend on HD Chopper. Danny said he is going to HCS 06 again this year. The red HD is coming to HCS this year too. Motorcycle is hot this year.

Free Lunch Hamburger & Hotdog was gone in few seconds. The event close at 3pm with no major troubles but little slow on visitor with heat wave hot 100 degrees temperature out side.

Next MOONEYES USA hosting Event is MOONEYES X-Mas Party on Saturday December 9th at Irwindale Raceway. Entrant must be 1964 and older cars and if you want to run on strip your car must meet with regulation by Irwindale Raceway(NHRA) safety regulations. Its free admission but there will be a General Parking fee. Please mark on your calendar.
