素人が撮るには速すぎるFunny Car
先週Pomonaで開催されたNHRA最終戦、自由席スタンドに陣取り、猛スピードで走るFunny Carを撮っていましたが、スピードが速すぎます。ゴール付近では300マイル以上、約480キロは出ているので素人ではとても追いつきませんでした。King of Budweiser、Kenny Bernstein's Monster Energy Carの写真は、何枚も撮った中で数少ない成功した例です。
DHL Carはクルマはぶれてませんが、ノーズが切れてしまいました。残念。
スタンドで撮っていると必ず誰かの頭が入ります。
かと思うとこのようにいきなり立ち上がる人もいます。Man! この写真は今回、唯一2台ぶれずに収まった物だったのにガックリです。
このTorco Carも良い感じです。
Skoal Carは速すぎて通り過ぎてしまいました。
いい写真が撮れるかどうかはただ単に偶然しかないので、素人でこの程度撮れれば満足すべきなんでしょう。お蔭様でスポンサーをしているLucas /Jim Dunn Racing Funny Carはご覧のようにオオボケとなってしまいました。
この時代でも十分スピードは速いですが、300マイルは出ていなかったと思います。
Funny car that's too fast for beginners to take a picture, like me.
At NHRA Final Race on last weekend in Pomona, I was taking pictures of the Funny cars in full throttle at main stand free seat near the big end, but speed was toooooooooo fast. The speed near the Goal was over 300 miles and too fast for armature to take a picture.
King of Budweiser, Kenny Bernstein's Monster Energy Car, this picture was the only one was successful among the many shot I took.
Shot of DHL car was not shaking but Nose was out of frame. That's pity. Someone's head gets in picture when taking pictures from stand. And sometimes there are people who just stands up. Man! I was so depressed to see this shot as it was the only one with two Funny Cars in frame without shaking. This shot of Torco Car was good too. Skoal Car was too fast to take a picture and passed by.
The taking good picture is like a miracle for amateur so Amateur should be happy with this much of pictures. Lucas/Jim Dunn Racing which we got to sponsor with their help, their Funny Car was out of focus like this.
The speed in these days were fast enough but I don't think it was like over 300 miles.
