珍味 in Hawaii
潰れているのは、ハワイで売られているピーナツバター入りのお餅です。
ピーナツバターと餅？
潰れているので、中身が少し見えているでしょ。 これって大福って呼んでいいのかな？
いずれにしても、なんともミスマッチな組み合わせに聞こえるので、自分からは食べてみようとは思いませんでしたが、ハワイの友人に強く勧められ、一つ食べてみると「旨い！」
MOONEYESの食いしん坊、Pan君も、美味そうに食べていました。
このグリーンのはメロン味、
そしてオレンジでマンゴー味の餅(画像なし）もあります。
日本でも餅の消費が落ちているなら、アンコの代わりにカレーでも入れて、カレー餅なんてのも売れるかもね！旨そう！

先月、遂に運行をStop、ホノルル空港には、往年のFunbird機が駐機していました。
このデザインには憧れたな～。
ハワイはAloha Airと、Hawaiian Airの両方あってハワイですから、Aloha Airの復活を期待しましょう！
The smashed one is peanut butter mochi (Japanese rice cake) sold in Hawaii.
Peanut butter and mochi? Since it was smashed you can see the inside contents better.
I wonder if this can be called Daifuku (a type of rice cake stuffed with bean jam)?
In any case, it's renown as a mismatch combination, but it isn't something that I would want to taste.
A friend of mine in Hawaii said just one taste and you'll be convinced that it's good!
"PAN" of MOONEYES will eat it.
The green one is Melon and there's an orange one that's Mango too.
Consumption of Mochi has actually dropped in Japan.
Instead of the traditional inside contents of red bean jam (Anko), perhaps making variants such as Curry will boost sales? Sounds good!

At one time, this period-correct paint scheme was known as the Funbird.
I admire this design.
Hawaii to me is seeing both Aloha Air and Hawaiian Air, so let's hope that Aloha Air is revived someday.
