Japanese Bike の Chopper
２週間前になりますが "Hippy Killer Hoedown"と言うBike Eventに行って来ました。
主催者は HCS にも来日する Hippy Killer Garage の Kutty です。
勿論メインは Harley ですが かなりの数の日本バイクベースの Chopper が来ていました。
今迄は数える程しかいませんでしたが今回は 30台近くも来ていました。
色々な方向に広がりを見せつつある So Cal の Chopper,
若い人たちが増えた事もあるでしょう。
また Harley は高くて手が出せないと言う事もあるかもしれませんが
何はともあれ新しい方向に向かって行くのは良い事です。
何時でも So Cal は何かを発信しています。
Two weekends ago was the "Hippy Killer Hoedown" bike event in Southern California in Winchester at The Wild West Arena. Hippy Killer Garage, Kutty, whom also comes to HCS is the promoter/organizer of the event and this was their 3rd year already.
Of course, the main attraction of bikes are Harley based but there are quite a few Japanese based choppers and many are well done. Before it seemed there were just a hand full but this year there were at least 30.
There were all kinds of So Cal chopper styles spread out all over the place, a lot of younger riders too this time.
With Harleys being so expensive, it's not easy for everyone to get their hands on one so that is one reason why I think other bikes are getting popular which I think this is a good thing.
There's always something creative and fresh coming out of So Cal.
